How to JOIN or HOST a game over the Internet:  http://www.handmark.com/warfare/forum/viewtopic.php?t=941

How to minimize lagging over Internet when JOINING a game:

1. Do not run any other apps on device. This is especially true for Pocket PC (PPC) devices. i.e. IM programs, alarms & hacks.

2. WiFi - Do not use security like WEP or WAP. Use MAC address for security. Requires processor to encrypt and decrypt data.

3. Stay as close to your WiFi/Bluetooth antenna as possible. Closer you are, the higher the data rate can be on the network.

4. Use an Instant Messenger (IM) app on your PC, to help coordinate and fix lagging problems with host. AIM and Yahoo are popular.

5. Dial up, Cable and DSL all work fine. The lagging is usually caused by the internal home network or the device itself. Make sure you are not running a peer-to-peer file sharing program like KaZaa, Morpheus, Napster or Grokster.

6. After all this, you will still see occasional lagging, even between players in the same house.

I am open to any more suggestions?
