How to log in for multiplayer

So i registered and activated my account but when i click on username and password, the game just freezes and i cant do anything. Pls help

As of iOS 8, clicking any button that should then display a user input method will cause the game to freeze. For example, when you try to login, it attempts to show the input box and the keyboard, but due to a bug, fails. The only way to login is to overwrite a file in the app's data directory, but that requires a computer and it also requires jailbreak if you device is using iOS 8.3 or above.

Yeah, not being able to chat is another bug in iOS 8.
