Looks like the Handmark site download is the latest v1.2, released May 5th, 2004. I expect we'll all get an email from Handmark, like we did for v1.1.

So far, it works great! Another fine job, spiffcode! :D :D :D

Ok, before I do any updates:

* Will this require re-entry of the lic#?
* If it DOES what recourse will I have?
* Do we have a list of what is new/fixed in 1.2?
* If someone submits a mission before I dload 1.2, will 1.1 still work?
* Use the same dload as the demo correct?

No re-entry of license key unless the version on your device you bought at a retail store. If this is you, PM claxbane.

You can look on a product page to see what is new in v1.2. The main feature is multiplayer support and 21 multiplayer missions.

User authored missions work compatibly on v1.1 and v1.2. If it is a multiplayer mission, it'll work on v1.2 only.

Download is the same. Here is the product page with the product description and the various download options:

Ok thanks! Now I have two questions:
1. Does the new version support bluetooth on ppc?
2. What is this IP adress that shows up under the multiplayer section? It looks like an IP I tried once.

Hey...i thought the part about being able to put as many downloaded missions on the mission manager was fixed? Cuz i can still only put like 20 in it...I thought it was supposed to be unlimited? Was i just hearing or reading that wrong?

1. Yes it does.

2. For 802.11/ WiFi / network play, WI uses the connections that have already been configured by the end user using the PocketPC / Wndows Mobile / Palm OS user interface.

It is unlimited within the game, meaning you'll be able to select and play any mission you download within the game. The Mission manager on the otherhand (which only allows you to delete and beam) may have a limit, I will take a look. If it does have a limit, I will fix it.

By the way there is no Mission Manager for PocketPC, so this doesn't apply to PocketPC users.

If a hosting player resigns, host gets the YOU WIN screen. Joining player never sees anything on screen telling him.

If you change to a different game and resign, BOTH players get YOU WIN screen when the host resigns for a second time.

If the joining player resigns, display is proper but host cannot OBSERVE game. Host is put back to HOST MULTIPLAYER GAME screen.

using 1.6x Normal difficulty over WiFi between 2 T|C devices.

Played Desert River Riches and resigned then played Alien Relics and resigned - BOTH PLAYERS WIN ! [/b]Both devices were restarted from the Palm launch screen.
