I took a vote regarding closing the clan on this topic. According to the active clan members, they do not want the clan to be closed.
I am going to step down from my position as clan leader and clan moderator. A new leader and moderator must be appointed or the clan will have to be shut down. I would like the new clan leader and clan moderator to be the same person but they don't have to be.

Here are the requirements:

Clan Leader:
Active in the game
Forum knowledgeable
Currently a clan member
Follow and enforce the clan rules

Clan Moderator:
Active on the forums
Currently a clan member
Know and follow the rules for clan moderators (I can go over that with the selected player)
Know how to moderate a clan page (I can go over that with the selected player)

Please reply with your vote or contact me with your vote via PM. Your vote needs to have the player you'd like to vote for as Clan Leader and the player you'd like to vote for as the Clan Moderator. The player you vote for needs to meet the requirements I have above. You may vote for anyone in the clan (even yourself).
If the player the majority votes does not want to take that role, another vote will be taken.

This vote will last until 11-23-13 at 12PM EST or until all five of the players on this list have voted (my reasoning is that the players on the inactive list won't vote no mater how long they are given, so if all the active players vote, might as well close the voting).

Two votes were private and one vote was public.

Bid Winner: 1 vote
King Steve: 2 votes

Clan Moderator
Sidekick: 1 vote
King Steve 2 votes

So King Steve has been nominated as the clan moderator and leader. Congrats King Steve!

King Steve said that he honored to be nominated but doesn't feel that he will be able to effectively lead the Scorpions.

We will need to vote again on who is to be the new leader and moderator.

Sidekick was voted for leader and he accepted the position. More information here.
