EDIT: NEW VERSION ADDED 4-30-04
EDIT: Sequel titled "Thirsty: Exit Locator Cont." is now uploaded in file sharing section.
Description:
No story lines, just find the switch that ends the level - your hint is near the base ruins. You cannot win until you do but eliminating the enemy may be helpful so you dont get picked off. A stealthy approach can work but isnt required...

You start out with:
1 Dominion
1 Liberator
1 Broadsword
2 Eagles
1 Guard
1 Trooper
2500 Galaxite Credits

This is my first attempt in creating a mission.

History:
Ver1: (switchexit.pdb)
I expect bugs! Its relatively simple "first" version but has not been tested on anything other than a Tungsten T3 with default game difficulty. Some of my rivers didnt line up right but I dont care about that so much.

Ver2: (switchexit2.pdb) *Note for this version - you must delete the old version first as I forgot to alter level name
Fixed the lack of unit building by opposing team.
Altered some of the terrain.
Moved/added/removed some enemy units.

ver2b:
harder, fixed summary.

This is a prequel to "Thirsty" mission... should have put them together but I didnt, "so there!" lol.

Shawn

Good Mission. The only bug that I found was updating the mission log once you complete the mission. Other than that, I noticed a few a layout errors in you map, but nothing major.

Not bad for you first mission and I look forward to you next challenge

Thanks for the feedback... by the log do you mean a summary screen at the end? Im finding little info for a "log" but I went in and created a mission objectives status entry. Not sure what I did exactly, and I forgot to look in advance, but I at least now have a summary with a ver not uploaded. Which reminds me...

If anyone is interested: Just for fun while working on a log, I made some changes that should make this a LOT more difficult. Its still possible to win (just tested it). Unless there is other feedback for it though I dont think I'll update it because "more isnt always better". This one is tough even if you know the solution! I dont think its different enough to warrant a new thread or so much better as to replace the first?

The current upload is simple, kinda easy, but also a good time killer (IMO).

Ok, here is a more difficult ver... take a look at this and see if its buggy or lacks a logging function. I really need feedback on this one though if you dload it. Im working on a sequel (with a plot no less) and now would be the time to implement changes.

Yes, I meant the summary screen at the end of the mission. Please forgive me for not using the proper language. I have a draft of my first mission now, but can't seem to devote enough time to complete it. It should be in stores near you by mid summer.

You sir are forgiven! :D

Im guessing then I "fixed" it with the other file. If I get any feedback that says its better I'll edit the sticky and replace the listed file.
