I suggest that we get a mobile version of the forums for those of us who use our idevices to view the forums. I believe that this would bring back many forum users who do not have access to a computer.

This was brought up before here.
Although it would make using the forums slightly faster, I don't see that it would really help. I use the forums every day on iDevice and computer and I don't have issues on the iDevcie unless I'm typing something really long or doing something with lots of BBCode. The main reason people tell me they don't use the forums is because they say the forums are too confusing and hard to use not because the forums don't have a mobile version. I doubt a mobile version would help with that. It would be cool, but since there's not really a need it won't happen because scott would have to do it (i think). |

First of all i believe a mobile version would make it easier to use and second of all people would be more likely to post if it was quicker andd simpler.

How would a mobile version make it much simpler? Really, the only time it would save is maybe scrolling from one side to the other to tap buttons.

First of all you wouldnt have to zoom in save 1 sec then you have the loading time for all the elements and images of the page which probably doubles the loading time. For example visit the pyro networking forumsa and then these. Which is easier and simpler to use? You decide

I'm not saying this is a bad idea, I actually think its a good idea. The problem is it will take a lot of time on someone's part and that someone would probably have to be scottlu. So unless this is something a LOT of players are asking, it probably wont happen.
If it does happen, there better be a toggle to use the desktop version lol. I already expressed my personal views on mobile sites. |

I can access the forums easily right now on my iPod. Only extra thing I have to do is zoom in a little.

In my opinion it is quicker and simpler to use a mobile version of the forums but maybe im wrong. I just figured a mobile version of the forums woupd help draw people. Also there would always be the normal version of the forums
