Posted: Tue Jul 30, 2013 1:53 am Post subject: Should I do Video Guides |
I did some written guides to the single player story missions and single player challenge missions (I have 4 guides left to finish which I'm planning on doing over the next few days)
Do you guys want me to do videos guides? I have a slow internet (which makes it almost impossible to upload videos) but if it's wanted I'll try to do it.

I would have loved video guides when I was new. There's a few guides out there all ready but I can't find a complete set of video guides for all the story missions.

Any jailbreakers know of a screen recorder thats free and will work on iOS 4.2.1? I can't find any that will work and I've searched the internet and found nothing. If I do make video guides I wanna record my screen.

I'll make some video guides then. I don't think anyone would not like them. I won't really explain anything, but people can just copy what I do and or learn by how I play.
It will take me till about Saturday probably. Making the videos will be easy. I've played story so many times I could just sit down and beat the whole thing in like an hour. It's uploading the videos that's going to take awhile. On my internet it takes 1-2 hours to upload a 10 minute video if no one else is using the WiFi. Normally someone is on the WiFi so it will take longer.

So I made a video for one of the missions and it won't upload. It gets around 70% done and says theres an unknown error. The ones ones Ive done so far went fine. Im not a big youtuber (this is a actually the first time Im uploading to youtube), does anyone know why this is happening?

Okay, I got that one fixed now that wouldn't upload.
I finished making the videos but it will take a few more days to finish uploading them all.

I asked nate about putting the video player on the post. It's not possible to do that on phpBB 2 (this forum is phpBB 2). Even if it was possible the admins wouldn't allow it due to the fact people would post videos with content againt WI rules.

There is such a thing called submission and checks and balances but I understand that they the admin would have to watch each submission. Still think it would be great to have.
