I was reading over the Map Competition topic. It looks like it ended up stopping around April 2011 because there's a "Submissions for the best map of April 2011" topic but I couldn't find "Votes for the best map of April 2011" topic or anything newer. I can't find a topic/post for why it stopped too.
I know that was 2+ years ago, but unless someone has a good* reason not to, I think it should be started back up again. It could (but wouldn't have to) be given it's own forum to draw more attention.

Post if you think this should be started up or you have comments.

*'Not many maps being regularly published' or 'not enough active players' isn’t a good reason.
