Guide to Defend Against A Broadsword Rush in Most Large Unlimited, Limits, and Money Rising Maps

01: Build one Vehicle Transport Station.

02: Order a SR-98 Eagle.

03: Build a Research and Development Center (do this as soon as you order the SR-98 Eagle).

04: Upgrade Vehicle Transport Station.

05: Send the SR-98 Eagle to your enemy’s base to defog.

06: Build one Vehicle Transport Stations while your Vehicle Transport Stations are being upgraded.

07: As soon as your Vehicle Transport Stations are done being upgraded, order M-18 Hydras with both of them.

08: Sell the Research and Development Center build two Vehicle Transport Stations.

09: Defend your base with your M-18 Hydras.

10: Build a Power Generator and build more Vehicle Transport Stations.

Remember, when using this method, speed0 is the key. YOu have to do it really fast. If you do this fast enough you will destroy the T-29 Broadswords attacking you and you will have a M-18 Hydra army you can destroy the enemy base with.
This method won't work on small maps.
Warning, some players will resign under three minutes as soon as they see their quick attack fail.

Broadsword rush is actually pretty easily counterable. It can only catch you off guard if you're rushing for a tier 3 build or placing too much early game emphasis on economy.

I might also advise investing in rocket troopers early game, since they're excellent counters to everything other than:

A) Guards
B) Liberators

However, people rarely use guards en masse and Liberators tend to be more of a reactionary unit built to counter rocket troopers.

Little is it known that it's more practical to build libs over hydras as libs are more effective than hydras at killing both vehicles and troops.

If your opponent uses and army of all vehicles (as many people do), then there isn’t much use for liberators. On average Liberators may be better than Hydras.

The only vehicles that have a chance against libs are cyclopes - A cyclops has a greater range than a lib.

Cyclops are taken out good by Rocket Troopers. I guess Liberators and Cyclops make a nice combo.

Yeah. The only issue I see there is that it's sometimes hard to do that quickly and get everything in a row.
