Most of the current players don't care for the forums. I guess they don't see a reason to use them. But who wants to use a dead forum?

This forums the best bit about the game, in my opinion.
And me, you and the other few last forum users.

This is slimjimninja. If you're seeing this, you are the forums.

Get the reference?

The community seems to be degrading quite badly, and the only thing which could possibly reverse this trend would be an internal change of the game (updates, better player retention) or an external change (change in marketplace, e.g. exported onto Android OS, or advertising).

For those of us desperate to keep the forums alive, the best bet would be to befriend the noobs and get them interested in the community/clans.

Oddly enough, I still visit here almost daily, but there's rarely any reason to contribute any more.

Befriend the noobs!
What a good campain name! Aha.

The only hope this game personally has left is either an opensource port, or some updates.

That’s the attitude that’s killing this community. Most players agree with you Law, so they stop posting, and the forum community dies like it has. We need people to contribute without reason so others will have a reason to contribute.
