I saw it today and it was rather disappointing. I really did think it would have a bit of a plot. Although the action was nice and the girl got the chicken burrito, it was not very well done. Why did some of u say it was close to being as good as Avengers?!!?

As corny and bad the storyline/plot was, i liked it...

I guess it's personal preferance.

Avengers will always be better than battleships lol.

If you guys have had the chance to see it, Total Recall is pretty awesome as well :D

Very very very very very loosely based on it lol. Although I like how they incorporated the board game part of it into the movie.

It's the other way around in the US. Battleship came put a couple weeks after Avengers.
