I'm still getting used too the game 
what would you people say is the best way to learn the game, play through the campaign and missions, or multiplayer?

Id say campaign to get your bearings and then multiplayer

Hmmm I guess doing the campaign first is good but the first time I did multiplayer I got creamed by a swarm of Broadswords cuz that was a totally unfamiliar strategy to me at the time, so be prepared for the unexpected when you start multiplayer.
