How can I make a 'drop-off' location where units go to when they are created? For instance I want to create a whole bunch of M-18 Hydra's and have them move over to the ongoing war right away, automatically, once they are created.

Thanks!

In order to accomplish this, first you need to create a new area on your map.

I usually try to pick a place that will be concealed from the player. I particularly don't like when units just appear out of thin air.

Then you need to create a unit group. Add the number of Hydra's you want to be spawned. Be sure to change their aggressiveness to Pitbull.

For Actions select attack nearest all units owned by side1 for 1000 seconds.

Finally, you need to create a trigger that will determine when the unit group is created.

This is up to you as the creator to determine when the Hydras will be created. My normal trigger looks something like this:

CONDITIONS:
Elapsed mission time is AtLeast 300 seconds
ACTIONS:
Create unit group Hydras
Wait 30 seconds
Create unit group Hydras

This trigger creates a group of Hydras after 5 minutes into the mission and then creates another group of Hydras 30 seconds later.

What I mean is when playing the game, not when making my own maps :) But thanks for the tip anyhow, I'll keep this in mind :D
