Cat and Mouse Poll

I'm posting this poll to see what the community feels about my Cat and Mouse maps. Cat and Mouse was one of the first maps I've created in Warfare Incorporated (I think it's about 2 years old now) and never has it come across any trouble than it has just recently, when certain players used the map as a source of pointfarming. I've already removed Cat and Mouse CLASSIC & REDUX, but Cat and Mouse Desert is still up.

Should I remove Cat and Mouse Desert for the time being as well, or does the community want the map still up?

Keep it since it's not pumping.
It's a good tool for higher clans to point at cretin players and say we don't allow thoses types players in our clan.

I say keep it because I like Cat and Mouse cuz it's fun and I play it for fun. The people abusing it should be removed from the leaderboard.

The map used to be fun to play with friends now it's turned into a score gathering game

slim they havent broken a rule so we cant remove them, its more the map breaking the rule

Sure it's not pumping and the map is fun for recreational use, but it gets REALLY ANNOYING when people use it for points only (and not to mention never play cyan). So I vote to get rid if it. Thanks.

I vote, remove. It's a wonderful map and it had to take a lot of time to make. But the map is being "abused". What some people are doing, although it is not against the WI rules, it is against what I would call "The Unspoken and Common Sense Rules". Since what some people are doing is not against the WI rules, the only way to stop this problem is to remove the map. But I do think the map should be "fixed" and be "reposted" at a later time.

I say def remove unless fixed so that cyan has a better chance on winning.. But i say it shouldnt count towards leader board points!

U can win as cyan easy, I did it vs some very good players. Everyone needs to stop complaining about how cyan is unfair when cyan can win easily if u know how. If u don't like how u can't win as cyan and can't figure out hOw to win as cyan than don't complain about making the map easy because u cant win as cyan or just don't even play it

XD biggest cheaters map ever. I would know cause I played it 2 months ago (Dealer prolly remembers : D ). I've tried waaaay too many times to win as cyan... I haven't won as cyan yet and I've never been close... You can take two people out if you try really hard but by then the third person has a full army... Not to mention that people who play cat and mouse always have a partner (ie studmuffin and jwy....)

King wolf you obviously arnt grasping the concept , yes cyan can win but the map has been abused into pumping and to the players gain. I have also noticed if cyan wins the players loose about 3 points each which is about 2 games worth of points. I vote ban map or make it a co-op .

well he doesnt need to. Since 99% of number 1 players stay on one map and choose the color. (so hes not doing much harm according to admin rule.) so then hes helping 2 players Instead of him self.

Ok so what am I not grasping? This whole topic is about How cyan is not a fair color. Why should we change the map when some people can't win as cyan while some other few players and me can

@N104 for map one STUD mined 80k in the time you mined 30k.... He only lost cause the two anons didnt to anything... Cat and mouse is easy 1 vs 1

Map two he quit before 3 so doesn't matter

Map three Im guessing masterzan cut him off and went to the right as well because they both mined fairly little in the time.

Btw I still haven't managed to win a proper game as cat in more tries than I can count..... So my guess is I suck cause obviously the map can't be rigged (sarcasm)

And no offense... Look at the names of the people agreeing to keep cat and mouse......

make cyan tanks cost less or
give cyan more tanks for every building get destroyed or
give cyan tanks everytime a miner is destoryed or
give cyan tanks every so often.


good idea make all the cash mined by red, yellow, blue. make them give half to cyan.

so
red makes 2 grand
blue makes 1 grand
yellow makes 1 grand
that equals 4 grand
cyan will get 2 grand


that idea is a good one since cyan is by him self with one miner to start with and red,blue, yellow can make as much miners as they want.

or you can open some space up so cyan can get a hq and he can build his own miners and vts to mine faster. in his little section.

It doesn't even need modifications cyan can win easiley on the original and redux while it take some more stratagy in desert but cyan can still win. If u make modification it will be to easy to win as cyan

Wolf you're wasting your breath trying to explain that c can win to players who don't want to take the time to learn how to play as cyan.

It's interesting to see some players who vote to take down all the cat & mouse maps are the ones playing it.

Never went back on my word. I asked the community if they want the map up, or down for a while until I could get things fixed. I didn't specify it in the OP, sorry.
