yeah i want this too, so lets plan it out with simple understanding rules.
most of us have more then 1 account. so if i "wonderer" wanted to join this tournement i would only be able to fight other players in my lets say weight class (like boxing). so we would have to agree with what class i belong too. by looking at my other accounts and or my highest account lets say wonderer has 2000 games scored. so i could only be in matches with other players with around the same game scored. to make it fair with the other players like "anon583" who only has like 200 games scored. of course when the anon plays more games then he would be eligible to play with the big boys.
their should be atleast 10 maps of course we all make a new topic voting to get our map on the list. 5 maps can be choosen between the 2 players. a good random way to decide what map will be played is by looking at the the game history ( i can think of something that will be perfect with anyone trying fix a match. since it breaks the game history into 4 sets of 25. )
so at the end of the day or when people get board with it should look something like this.
(ill use random simple accounts)
1 anon583
2 wolfy
3 diggles
4 gunners
5 tin
6 doom
7 susu
8 dealer
so lets say those players wanted to join the first tournement.
the 4000 wieght class will have tin, and gunners.
the 2000 weight class will have wolfy, diggles, and dealer.
the 1000 weight class will have susu, doom, and anon583.
so diggles would have to fight wolfy 5 times on different maps or 3 different maps.
diggles would also have to fight dealer 5 different on maps or 3 different maps. and so on...
at the end of that weight class matches, the one with the most wins wins in their devision.
ok now so lets say gunners and tin are the only players in their wieght class so they fight out and thats it.
if anon583, susu, doom are in the same class and anon583 wins in his class cause he has the most wins. we would have to decide if anon583 can be put back in that same class or if he has to fight with a different class. cause hes to good for that class or hes not good enought for that class. i said WE cause anon583 shouldnt be able to fight in any class he wants to cause its unfair to the other players with more matches or less matchs under their belts.
i dont think admins or mods should have anything to do with the tourments or keeping track of anything. but they should be able to play as a regular player but they have to play on a different account so they wont kick players while playing. we dont need them cause we know each others hidden accounts and we can tell if that person is to good for that weight class or hes just trying to make a name for its self.
i rather we are made to play 5 maps at least cause if someone lags out they have a chance to quit for the day and win in the other matches. and of course the other player can deicde to give that person another shot if he truly feels like he lagged out cause of phone call or weak wifi.
it wouldnt matter what account we play on as long as both players knows its the other player.
some classes could have thier own rules like
3min rule
2 min rule
1 mine rule
playing on their highest accounts
and many more if we can think of them...
the only thing i cant get over is that some people will have hidden accounts so they will enter different classes just to win as many as they can. but i still dont want admins touching anything cause they destory everything. the only thing i can think of is we make our own board with a new topic. and if we find out that a person was fighting in more then 1 class at anytime then they will be deleted and wont be able to join any tourments for 1 year.
if it ever does happen then we can make a leaderboard so we can keep track on how many times lets say dealer came in 1st or 3rd place and in what class.
for the players who dont vist the forums they wont have to vote or anything someone can just tell them in the chat room about the matches and if they refuse to play along with the rules of the class. then the other class members can either act like hes isnt playing or count only some of his matches.
i give it about 1 weeks to plan it all out and another 2 week to find the players to join the first tourment.
i think that covers it all. so no one feel left out or like they suck cause they arent in a different class.
( so much crap running though my head )
