introduction section for this forum

This would be good but may take a bit to start off with since we hardly get new members but this request would be easy to add since its for the fourm
I would like to see this happen it'll make the forum look more .... professal for people to say hey

Wouldn't it just be a place to spam post just by saying welcome or hi?

By bring the comunity together and saying hello to new players and making them feel welcome, does it matter about spam? we get new players a couple a week or something and i bet if we had a introducing page they would feel more welcome by saying hello and we would say hey back
But they might not just say hello they might put a little sentence along the way with hey.

I think an introduction section of the forum would be pretty cool. It could perhaps be mixed with the About Me page idea. An introduction forum would be a place where new members could come and tell the community a little about themselves. Old players could post their About Me topics there so new players (and players that don't everyone) could learn about the other community members.

It could turn into a spam forum, but it could have somewhat strict moderation so people cant just post "hi im new" and thats all.
