The admins are going to say something about your losing and gaining are different cause each person who plays each other has different ratings.
Or that maybe it didn't count the points yet.

That's way I never paid to much into the details of points cause of what happened with you and diggles.

Does anyone actually know the formula for calculating points? I doubt it's based on rating alone.

It's called the ELO rating system, you can read about it here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system

The idea is it assumes you are better if your rank is higher than the other player. If you are better and win, you'll get fewer points because you won against a less skilled player. If you are better and lose, you will lose more points.

Conversely, if you have a lower rating and win, you'll get more points because you have demonstrated superior skill. If you have a lower rating and lose, you will lose fewer points because you were expected to lose.

That's basically it. I modified it for team play, but 1v1 I use it as documented on that wikipedia page.

Can we please make it so there is a 1 point minimum gained per match..

Afew days ago, I won 3 matchs in a row, and got 0 pts finally.
I found out I wasted my time and risk my match.
I didn't care pts, but it's not fair when i played hard but got NOTHING.
I should only STAY AND WATCHING then.

If both of you use the search button I now you can find the slution to your problem. I already figured out the problem just by reading the other 10 topics discussing the same problem.

The elo system works great for simple minded bots that can't improve but for humans the elo system is heavily flawed.
