Whats the difference between the ipod touch and the ipod touch 2nd Generation? Well...I have an ipod touch and want to buy a cover for it, but when i went to an online store it said there were two different kinds of ipod touches which i wasn't aware of. So is there a difference in their appearances, for the way the cover would fit them?

Well there are four generations of iPods right now:

1st generation
2nd generation
3rd generation
4th generation

Generations 2 and 3 look exactly alike:

I'm assuming you have a 1st generation iPod touch judging my what you said. If that is the case, then buy a cover that is specifically meant for 1st gen iTouches. Any other cover won't work.Z

and not many shops sell first gen ipod cases now so you might have to have ebay or an apple store might sell ya one
