game not saving on iPad 1...

I had purchased this game on my iPhone and when I purchased my iPad 1 the day they came out in April of 2010, I installed it on the iPad... Everything worked fine.. the game saved when I closed it down and all... everything was still great after upgrading the iPad to ios4...

NOW... About a week ago the screen went out on my original iPad 1 and I got a new replacement iPad 1...
I installed warfare on the new iPad 1, but now when I play it, it will not save completed levels..

It will not save add-on missions that I download.. When I close out the app, the downloaded file disappears ... I have to re- download the add-on mission to play it again, but then it deletes it again after I shut down the app...

I have deleted the app from the iPad and reinstalled it from iTunes on my MacBook pro, but still it won't save...

Anyone have any solution or have had this happen????

When you reinstall it, the game resets everything

the ios version is 4.3.3 (8J3)

ipad part number is MC496LL

i can only assume that it is the final generation of the ipad 1... dont know how many generations there were of the ipad 1 or how to find out which on this is...

my first ipad model was A1337 and the serial number started with "GB"
the replacement ipad model is also A1337 but the serial number starts with
"CQ"

on other thing... may be worth mentioning?????

when i got the replacement iPad 1, i did a RESTORE from the backup i had in itunes on my macbook pro...

hey rhino.
this glitch is for devices on iOS4.3 or above
the only fix for the moment is downgrading your device to an earlier firmware. to do this you do not need to be jailbroken, but need to have saved previous shsh blobs from your device when it was on an earlier firmware. (tinyumbrella is a useful utility that i reccomend for everyone to make use of) I have downgraded my device in the past and it is possible.
best of luck with this, or until an update is available.

wow.. i just looked at the warfare app on my iPhone 4 and noticed that all my unlocked levels are now locked again and all my downloaded add-on missions are gone too...

i guess the 4.3.3 ios4 update affected both devices...

Additionally Scott did announce this problem and I believe he is going to patch it by the next update.
