When units move to attack they fire after the defending units, this is what causes many attacks to fail, it might be more balance if they fired at the same time.

huh explain more cause your talking about moving the hole army or are you talking about sending a group to a different spot with out you controlling them :?

Um yeah it is true. An Andy attacking a different Andy will lose because the defending Andy hits first.

yea, the defending units always shoot first, but that in a sense is a thing you use to your advantage when you play

slimjim and Mithoz got it, thats what i meant, and I feel like I am most reluctant in a stalemate to attack because of that fact, I am at a disadvantage to rush so for me at least it makes me want to stand still.

Whenever I attack I just move my troops close to the enemy, and then send a bait to draw the enemy army in

Im not sure Galm. Making it so that the defending and the attacking units fire at the the same time would take away some of the strategy of the game I would think. Plus I have seen many complaints about stalemates, and evening out units/armies when they attack may lead to more of these stalemates.

No for me stalemates happen because no one wants to attack because they have a disadvantage.

You have to command Andy to attack; he won't attack by himself. This is because I set his aggression to Pacifist, meaning he will not fire unless specifically ordered to.

Not really. You can position your Andy in a place so that he can shoot first always. Usually the opponent has to be just finished turning a corner

What I think wondy is trying to say is that after everyone has explored the map, when both players see each other on the map they can make their Andy attack each other.

If they shoot at the same time no matter what, then the game will be boring. Cos what sets the good players in that map and the average ones, are the fact that thry can kill their opponent without dying

People would rush more but same firing time would be the best IMO.
