I think there should be a new button that allows both players to quit a game without loosing points. This would have to be agreed on by more than half the players in the game and could work as a vote system. Long unlimited matches and any other reason a map would take for ever could be left without loosing points because at the higher end of the leader board people are less likely to resign.

When u decide to play a map that can be stalemate it's your choice and you take on the responisibilty that comes with that map that it can be uber long..

Idk. It just seems the times when I play Games that lasted more than 30mins seem wasted.

It's a skill to find your way out of a stalemate, but I guess it's not a bad idea either cos Alot of people get frustrated

yeah im 50/50 on this to cause you pick a map you should play till you win or lose.
if this does happen it should say the match was a forfeited by both players or a draw match in the game history

Huh I think that it should have to be a unanimous vote, there's no reason that the guy who wants to kept playing after 30 mins can't keep playing, it's seems like cods cowards way out type thing.

Well why don't you play a 30 min match Glam and say that a tie button wouldn't be helpful.

had a 4 hour match before. W T F... didn't realize it was taking that long.
but when ratings are high ur not just gonna give up.

some maps have a bottleneck, where whoever attacks loses. flawed.
another POS map is Arena FFA. what a clusterf**k. if nobody sits back, then it will go on and on...

exactly Dr. some maps have advantages if you hang back, in unlimbit ffa, the wall in the middle gives who ever attacks a large discadvantage, because there formation has to be crunched together.

You guys are right. Don't play maps that take too long... But I like vex's idea too end where nobody wins or loses... All players in the match would vote...

its not just for unlimited, me and diggs were in 2v2 left vs right yesterday and we were stuck with bottom section vs top section. We came to an agreement later on but if we hadnt it would have taken forever.

I tend to prolong the game even if I am capable of finishing it off quickly. I like giving my opponent a chance to recover or even false hope :) . I like playing around especially when the opponent has only a couple units left and they're just running around or hiding like they got a chance to win, I wait for them to resign just because I got time to waste lol. Although, playing around backfired on me a few times and cost me tons of points lol! One example was vs Electronic Flesh and that was on New Year's Eve I think before the reset. I think I lost 30-40 points thanks to EF aka LawrenceFA lol. EF had one unit left and I resigned accidentally lol!

By that point it was all mined, and sitting in storage. Or, it was all spent by then. There were stand-offs with no fighting for periods of time (i'm guessing)

that is true we had about 20 tanks each. a few was lost on both side to see the rest of the field. the last attcked he did on me was i fell a sleep and he sneaked in with a eagle scout. attacked one of my tanks so the rest would fellow. i woke up to find a few tanks destoryed and his army almost dead. i think to long ago to be sure who won that game. i do remeber ganster_187 was on my team but not sure about moles partner. they both left or died after we ran out of cash. 8)

You know it's a good game when you're being pushed to the limit and you do what you gotta do. And even beyond that.
