It would be interesting if there were multiple map groups competing just like clans. I'm starting a map group called M3GA. Let me know if anyone has ideas for "Map Group Wars" or something to that end.

then if nate wants to be cool he could put the clan who one on top and the none wining group(losers) on the bottom. and keep up with the points so new map making groups have to catch up to be consider a good map making group

I understand that, its just its a matter of peoples opinions, we need a way to determine it thats better than that, unlimbit is simple but its one of my favs.
