Yo van javas nice to see we are back and active

Just a few points of clarification concerning Tryouts into van java.

1.) I understand when testing players who want to join we are currently using van java player picks his map and testing player picks his own map.

What happens if the java wins his map but loses the testing player map?

It jus shows that the tryout player can beat players on his map, and obviously been over 2000 rating they would have mastered at least one map.


2.) when we play testing players and they pick map are we allowed to choose color?


3.) when players want to tryout for van java they should post on the forums first to make it official. It is very hard to coordinate Tryouts without the testing player offically posting.


4.) when the tryout player plays his own map is he allowed to play the one same map against all 3 java players, or must he play different maps


I hope you can see where I'm comin from and the possible flaws that i may have found.

I will post possible changes that can be implmented if you agree with any of the issues I have raised..

Remember, winning isn't everything. And losing doesn't mean you're out. We make the final decision based not only on skills but also on other things such as loyalty, obedience etc. Also, if members ask the prospect to test again, then we test again. Berly, brian and I will make the final decision.

new rules :
1. rating must be > 2000 points
2. must play a minimum with 3 van java
3. play in the map that we specify
4. must play with ids a minimum >1900 points
5. in tests, win or lose is not the main goal, we just want to see your skill * new *
6. we will decide to join or not with other van java
7. no longer active in another clan

The reason were are of a higher standard that other clans is mainly because of our decline rate and personal set high standards. Our requirements, which aren't posted on the clan page, are that you must:

-Have a rating of over 2000 at time of try out
-During try-out, you must defeat 3 members*
-After joining you must stay active within the clan**

Upon entry in the clan, you need to notify the leader of your new "clan tag" account along with the rest of your multiple accounts. Any trash talking about the clan will get you kicked out.

Finally, please be respectful to all players, no matter what, if someone is "cheating" take screenshots and post your proof to alert other players and clan members, its common courtesy. Don't argue with mods or admins, if any one has a problem with any of our members or rules, feel free to PM either Val, Berly, or myself.

- If any members have any issues with any players, post here and things will be sorted out, fighting doesn't solve anything, action does. Flaming and cursing is noted and brings down the integrity of the player and the clan. Don't let us down.



*You must challenge a member for entry, once the member accepts your challenge you may pick the map, but they get to pick the color, or vice versa. Playing and beating 2 players, ie. 2v2, would/will count as 2 members for your try-out entry.

**In other words, if you are going on vacation or are planning to be away for a large chunk of time, you must notify someone in the clan so we are aware of you playing schedule. If you quit, a leader must be notified. You are not allowed to be in two clans at once.

New rule looks good. I agree when trying out we should all look at the skill of the probie and try to play them in a fair map. I often use sunken or a 1v1 map (bot).

After leaderboard reset. All ratings go down to 1500.

That would mean that there will be a lapse in time before someone is able to fit the requirements of 2000+ rating..
