I was getting to where I was most certainly going to win, had choked every path to the escape at the top right, when I was informed that I had let someone through and the game ended! There is no way anything got to the top right, so is there another way for them to get out? Or was it a malfunction?

do not know, ive never had this problem, they can sometimes come from where you base is and sneak behind you
