We have been told that work is in progress to make a section at the Warfare Inc. web site for publishing levels/mission packs. Are there any guidelines that we should know for publishing levels? Is there a way to "tag" them to identify whoever made the level? Is there anything special that should be part of a mission pack when it is published?

Just wanted to push this thread up again, would like to know too...

And I would like to add a question/suggestion,
shouldn't there be a check to see if the user only has the demo and if so make the mission unavailable, I mean, when the editor goes public the demo owner could just relay on playing more and more missions made by others. I have played SoLan's three missions so far and they are by comparison just as good as Spiffcodes.
I think demo owners just should be able to only play demo missions, force them to pay, Scott and the other guys shure deserves the money ! :D

I don't think the demo has the ability to load missions, does it?

No, otherwise it wouldn't be a demo.

Why then $demo =1 or =0 ?
I thought we had to put in a test value....

Just wanted to be sure.

If not, all is ok as it is.

Spiffcode used the $demo variable because the beginning levels branch differently at the end. I can't think of a reason for us to need it.

And if we can use it, spiffcode might want to change that!

I concur, I think $demo is pretty useless.
