is there a way to detect when two units are touching?
i.e. when the location of unit x is 3,4 and unit y is at 3,5 the collision detection condition would be met
maybe there would be some trigger to insert unit location into a pvar. and maybe a way to compare pvars based on their quantities as some sorta condition

If it's a fixed location you can use an area to do that.

If you want something to happen the first time tow sides meet, you can use the Discovers Side condition. I.e. you could say "Side1 discovers Side2" and show an alert, or whatever action is of your interest.

isn't the discoveres side condition met when the other side enteres the current sides view? so the other unit could be visable but nowhere near the current sides unit. i'm looking to make a pacman style map and since the map is big it could be difficult to fit all the area triggers in.
