I'm thinking about how best to add support for clan wars. Here are some thoughts:

- the goal is that clans play against other clans, and get a score
- introduce the idea of a "ranked clan"
- ranked clans have a single score, and there is a clan leaderboard to see the clan ranking.
- all clan games played affect the clan score. Potentially clan members don't have individual scores on the clan id.

This would be a start. I'm still thinking about it and want to collect ideas and feedback.

Thier should be clan maps so we don't have to fight to which map we play.

Or have a system where the other clan must play your map if you play thier map.

That will happen. Notice how the clan wars proposal is compatible with that.

That all sounds great. But with the clan id's I'd like each Id's rating to be visable and the average of all the id's in a clan will determin the clan rating. And also it should be impossible for a player to be in 2 clans at once :/ cause then they could sabotage one of them. And if they have 2 iPods then they can still only be in one clan

Everything up there looks great, but I have a few questions/comments.

I was talking with my friend about this a couple of days ago, and we realized that it would be possible to do clan pumping. It would work the same way as regular pumping, except it would be clan's score, and not a personal score. What he proposed to do to stop this before it starts, is make it so that clan wars have to be okay-ed by the clan leader, co-leader, or clan moderator before being initialized.

Also, where and how would these take place? I remember a few months ago you said that it could possibly be done by having a separate room for clan wars, that only people in clans would be able to see.

Finally, is it going to be one clan ID and one regular ID, or one ID with prefixes for clan activities?

I think Scott told me once that the clan id's would only be able to play other clan id's. And supposing each person only has one clan Id, pumping shouldn't be a problem. I also don't see why the games would have to be ok'd by the leaders unless it's that particular clans policy :)

1 and 2 are the different things.
Please adopt either.



1. CLAN point = Member's mean value + ( Number of people x 10 )
:twisted: ex) Coop Mania = 2040 / 1 + ( 1 * 10) = 2050 (kou=2040 point)


2. Make new room
:twisted: ex)
main( / )
main/Register( / )
CLAN WAR( / )

CLAN WAR room ,Effect only CLAN point.
Only the person of CLAN can enter a room.

Please adopt both.

1.As for registration, the moderator can be done. (CLAN moderator)
2.Everyone can see the enrollee.

So if idea 1 was also done what would be the point range? Is there a maximum points allowed? Or a point cut off?

Just make clan wars and as time progress problems will occur through experience and playing and you can just correct it along the way :)

here is an idea for the clan scoring system

-each clan starts off with the mean (average)score of all of the players in the clan

-a system of some sort would probably have to be created so that only clan mods could enter new players in their clan, so clan growth does not completley halt

-a clan room should be made so that you can only get into that clan room when you are on your clan id

-like mods have their mod id : mod then name of the moderator
clan id could be like this: VietPride destruction, VietPride Long Tran, VietPride wonderer VietPride nhanand so on.. any game played on those accounts would then affect only the clans rating, then any player from the clan could enter the room and play any maps

-clan ids could start with the average amount of points that the clan has, and then each game played on all accounts will either increase or decrease the entire clans rating and any maps can be layed

That's great except for the first idea I think that everybody should start with the same amount of points

is clan wars now 1-1 and 2-2? i hope it would be 3-3 and maybe 4-4.
