Any chance you might bring Warfare Inc over to webOS?

The PDK (native C++ SDK) is now out for Palm's webOS and PDK games can be published in the official app catalog with the latest system update:

Here is a blog post by Phil Hassey, describing how he was able to port his game Galcon very quickly and easily:

If it's as easy to port Warfare Inc, it should be worth the time. We don't have too many games in the app catalog, yet, so Warfare Inc would have a chance to stand out. Of course, the market isn't as big as other platforms, yet, but there should be a few million webOS devices out there. Now that HP has bought Palm and wants to expand webOS to tablets and netbooks, the platform is guaranteed to grow and is really looking attractive, IMO.

HP killed the TouchPad and entire webOS line in August. More information can be found here. http://money.cnn.com/2011/08/18/technology/hp_pc_spinoff/index.htm

Since webOS is dead, porting to an obsolete OS is highly unlikely unless the new HP CEO (as of this post, that is Meg Whitman) revives that plan. Right now, Android would most likely be the next OS that WI would be ported to. I apologize for the disappointing news.

I was working at the up building in Houston as a temp. From what I seen and heard they were moving to save money. Of course this a while back. they had only a few of their buildings active. So lots of jobs was cut cause of people up stairs. Then my building half the people got let go. I hope the new CEO doesn't move everything I don't like homeless people.

I know this might be annoying but can we get an answer from Scott? Scott, if you release the source code on webosnation.com, I can assure you our homebrew guys will make this run on the TouchPad and Pre. This is not a dead platform. the die-hard users support every developer that makes a good app. Please!
