New idea 4 this game

Hey,

I play the game halo 3 odst and there isnt a leaderboard, there r badges. So my idea is to make both. In the leaderboard is on the one side the avatar and on the other side the badge (e.g. My rating is 2000=commander, rating:2050=commander(grade2), rating:2100=...... and so on, i send u a picture from halo there u can c them.



So wat u guys think about this?

Hm, not a bad idea S.T.A.R.S. Let's see, these would have to apply to top 25-50, unless we can add a badge to the whole top 100. Keep up with the ideas, S.T.A.R.S., they are always welcome!

I like the idea, and it has my backing for it. But should we copy the badges already used? (like captain, major etc..) or should we try making our own badges that are more related to warfare Inc?


Maybe every 100points you get, you upgrade to a new rank?
But if u are still within 'that hundred' you can improve ur grade of that rank, every 20 or 50 points you achieve.

Btw y have saitama and yatsuashi two different badges? They have the same rating.

The badges would have to coordinate with something, and with the rank of 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, would probably be better than going with the points.

From what I heard, a small update has already been submitted to apple, not new graphics or anything. Just some minor things. Not sure how long until apple will have it ready. Maybe Scott can chime in when he gets a chance to verify this.

Yes new update to fix iPhone 4 issue is waiting Apple's approval. It also disables building under the minimap.

stars, I like your idea. I think the ranks could come from the single player game (there is a list of ranks you can get). I need some graphics for the badges, then I'll gladly add it to the leaderboard.

What I said above was rankings, not missions. There are 25 rankings. For instance, in some of the missions you get a double or triple promotion/ranking upgrade. You increase your ranking by playing the missions. Btw, trine was just joking around adding another rank. Just ignore that post.

i like S.T.A.R.S. idea with badges based upon your rank... they could be put next to your name on the leaderboard or whenever you view your stats.... it would be really cool and (if the clan wars update comes out) it could also be used for that...

Scott's right, 25 badges is a lot to come up with, and it would take longer to get implemented into the leaderboard. I think that having 13 would be good. Your badge would change every 100 points. That would give a badge up to a 2800 rating, starting with 1500. Even 12 badges would give a badge up to 2700 points at that rate.
