My sound has went off before. But it only happens to me when I get a phone call. I guess this would only apply to players with iPhones. When this happens, I have to restart the app.

Post Posted: Thu Jun 24, 2010 3:43 pm  Post subject: Same problem

I have had this exact same problem for the past few weeks.I have no sound in game or out of game. Not even on Single Player add-ons or campaign. I have no sound effects either(out of game no sound). Where the usual odd sound effect of tapping "PLAY", "SINGLE PLAYER", "MULTIPLAYER", "BACK", etc. is just nothing. The only sound effect I have on this game is a faint click when I tap on the iPod keyboard. However, even that is dubbed down. The sound works on my other apps and music, and putting in headpones did not fix the problem.

I have found a post about this problem: http://www.warfareincorporated.com/xyzzy/viewtopic.php?t=3414

I seems like there was another post about this in General Discussion where I answered to it suggesting deleting and redownloading the app and it worked. I couldn't find a subject of that sort, unfortunately. I'm waiting for the update to see if that fixes it. Until then, I'll be soundless.

Galm, wonderer is somewhat echoing what trine said. Resorting your device will fix the problem. Which I agree, but I would definitely delete the app and redownload it before I restored my iPod.

Another subject, galm do you have the same problems with sound that I do? If not, what don't you have? Maybe you have something that I don't have? I forgot to specify that when I tap on a game it doesn't make the clicking sound anymore either, as well as when someone says something in the chat room when I'm in the game lobby(when the "CHAT" button starts blinking). Also, a player named "pheonix" has recently complained in the chat room of having the same basic problem: no sound.

It happed to me twice before. I tried resetting and all but the only thing that worked for me was re-installing the app. Just delete and re-install it.
