Scott what if you just make same ip adress doesn't count as a regular game like anon games. Player that's using the same ip adress should be consider an anon so if they they have a 2 iPods, then they try to pump it wouldnt count as a win and they wouldn't earn points. But if they both team up while using the same ip adress then it's alright. Just not going against their same ip adress.

That's a good idea. It will only work for wifi however. This prevents people with two ipod touches from pumping.

With 3G each device would have a different ip address, even if the players are in the same house.

The problem is that this also prevents legit players from playing. I know of several situations where friends come over to the other's house, and they play. That's a fun scenario.

I have pumping detection tools right now (although I have to run it manually). So if you suspect a pumper, let me know and I will look it up.

i knew it was too good to be true :( well thats a good point but why cant it just not score.

if ppl go to a friends house to play they can still play, just not a scored game.

if they want scored games just play at their individual houses

its a small inconvenience but i think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks

Well yea I know scott, other ppl that use the same wifi are most likely friends in real life or a same person but have 2 iPods. Also they mostly like to pump up scores cuz they both know each other in real life. If they want to play agaInst each other, they can do it by for fun without points rating. The main reason players do 1v1 sometimes is to see who's better between the two of them. So it doesn't matter if they will gain points, what it matters is to see who's better.

If they want to earn points while playing together, they should team up in 2v2.

Sorry my if you guys don't understand what I meant. It's hard to explain.

No i understand

Friends have the tendancy to wanna help boost if they have the opprotunity abd uf they want to see who is better then points wont matter cuz the game will still show up on the leaderboard
