Anonymous Users (Anons)

Hey all,

Recently I have encountered some serious problems with Anonymous users.
A certain anon in-particular, (I can't name him because he signs in and signs out every 5-10 seconds). EVERY time I come on-line a room an anon has created is called 'LiamOwns is faggot'. This 'room' has been active for about a week now. I have contacted members of staff,moderators, talked to friends etc. At the moment nothing is being resolved...

If anyone could contact me about how to stop this room being made, a clde or something it would be much appreciated.

I believe anonymous users (seeming they don't make accounts) should not have the rights as registered users:
-Chat
-Room Making
-Game Creation (but still be able to join games)

I believe that the the chat should be disabled for anons because if they get 'muted' for 3 minutes they can just sign in as a different anon... How is that fair?? They aren't learning their lesson. So therefore I think that they shouldn't be allowed to chat because me (and many other users) have been hurled:
-Abuse
-Chat Spamming
-Lying
-Spreading rumours
-Room making "LiamOwns is faggot" "Doom is gay"

Also a certain anon made an account called 'doom is gay' I don't know how that this was aloud in WI list of names but 'gay' shouldn't be allowed.

I seen the rooms before do you realy think it's hurting you their your fans. Even if your not an anon you can still make rooms called some ones gay and just leave and come back to rest the internial timer

Just have fun with them.

those rooms which you talk about, liam, are not made by anons. The Doom is Gay room was made by someone with the account "doom is gay" (I've seen him online) and as for the Liam is a faggot, I saw that some player named "Liam is a faggot" created the room. So it's not a problem of anons, its a problem of people defaming others

lol... you don't even know what scott did. It's not a matter of an account ban, the 3 minute mute is a DEVICE ban (so the guy's DEVICE is muted, NOT his account) although you can avoid the wait by exiting the game and going back in.

Trineroks ummm thats what he's saying, the anon leaves and comes back making a loophole around it, also an anon did make the liamowns is a faggot room I saw it get created and went in to see who made it, it was an anon.

Yes, all those changes sound appropriate to me. But u might be able to give Scott some stats, like what anon he was and when, so that he can identify and punish him accordingly.

Woulden't scottlu computer login some where when a new room was created and he could find out who's ip adress it is and tell them to stop?
Or maybe the time and date so he could look for it in his files.

Maybe if he could do it?

It's just bullying, there is in my opinion no way to fully get it out of warfare Inc. I would just reccomend making a new account if all else fails

I can help with this problem. I will look at my records and see if I can spot who it is, and deal with it appropriately. Bullying is definitely not allowed.

Other things Liam:

- As of last night, there are chat room moderators on the MP servers, that can ban or kick off players with bad behaviors. I made the moderator feature to help with situations like this.
- if a player gets muted they will stay muted even if they log off and log on again (fixed this last night)
- swear word detection is being put in this coming week for both chat and room names.

One thing that anoys me is the anons that quit. I'll be playing 2v2 sided with an anon and he'll immeadetly quit. He dosent care about ratings he's a anon. :evil:

Agreed that the bullying gets a bit tiresome. And anons who bail out of games are annoying, no doubt.

Just wanted to say, I've been playing as anon a lot lately for my own reasons. Mainly to try new maps and to TRY and get better at this infernal game.

Anyway- please do not restrict the "rights" of anon's, especially the abilityto create games. Anons are people too! We have needs, wants, and desires, albeit somewhat... anonymous ones.

I don't recall he hasent been on for a while.

but like two or three days from his poste on this page. the demons was talking about him how he hasent been coming to forms or anyword from him. to me seems fishy but not my problem :-)
