Would it help if I added a way to mute chat, so that you could stop seeing the chat from other players? You could unmute it you wish, of course.

This way, when you have people complaining, you'd be able to turn if off.

That is a great idea! I am in total support. No more (visable) stalkers, haters, spammers. It would also be useful to be able to select the players to talk to, so that all players are automatically muted. But I can see the pitfall of this being that if someone would like to contact you they may not be able to.

Nah I would say what aboyt a vote? Like if someones being dum start a vote to block him, effective until all players of the vote are gone or in a game, also let's say everyone who has spoken in the last two minutes applies like if everyone must day yes it has to be people speaking within two min, cause of afk people.

Galm, only you would care about something as useless and mundane as that.

You could have players mute other players - so only they can't see what that person is saying, but just to keep things straight, leaving the 'player mutes other player - so nobody can see what that player is saying' scenario for the mods.

Ok, it's live now. Players can now type /mute in chat, so they stop seeing the chat of other players. /unmute to revert to normal.

I see, does it revert to normal when exiting? It could become a problem if I forget the command (impossible lol)

Yes it reverts to normal when you exit. You can also type /help to get reminded of the commands.

I think typing /mute and /unmute may be difficult for new players and if they are starting how would they ever find out? I think a simple button would make a nice feature for chat

Well, let's say hypothetically speaking, a new player enter multiplayer chat for the first time. Some perv decides to abuse him and he has no idea how to mute chat. Now u tell me how he would ever find out. A post search on the forms? I bet less than 10% of players know the commands. A simple outstanding button to mute chat would be obvious as to it's use and easy for new players to understand.

lol electronic first of all if he's played other rts games then he would deduct that commands are in this game too

and lets say he's really new to this genre. someone else in the room who's nice enuf could teach him to /help for commands. what are the odds that a noob and some perv would be in the lobby alone with eachother?i

I agree, it's impossible to discover. I added it since I could do it on the server, without making Warfare .app update. I will probably add it as a button to the next app update.
