Hi all, I'm setting up a weekly game chat where anyone can drop by and ask me questions or just chat about the game.

Fridays at 9pm PST (Pacific Time Zone). I'll make an obviously named room in the game just for the chat. Stop by and say hi.

Yeah that was a little bit too much. That was out of the regular though, but not that uncommon. It mostly happens with anons, not someone asking to be banned. That had to be the weirdest chat I have ever been on with this game. Too bad it had to happen while Scott was there.

Got to be one of the worst chats ever. My parents saw my sister in that chat room, where tigger was saying stuff about sexually harassing her and she ended up telling him her age. When they did see this, well, u get da picture. They took her iPod off her permentally.... We have to fix the swearing in chat rooms before my parents realise I have this game.

That's annoying if you can't swear, it would be totally weaksauce if it was taken away in the chatrooms. Just because your sister wasn't logical enough to leave the chatroom when her parents showed up, doesn't mean every other player should be penalized.

Brian trust me, and everybody else who was there, it was one of the worst chats I've ever been on. Saying I've been here about 4.5 months, and am on most days, that's saying quite a bit. I think most people who were there would agree with me, and I know trine does.

About sensoring swearing: I say sensor some, but very little. Having swearing being sensored isn't really "annoying" as Brian said, but more inconvenient. I'm okay with swearing, just make it private, and if you absolutly HAVE to have it public, keep it to the not-as-bad swear words. Most people don't like to hear it, so it's more of an annoyance for other people in the room to have it availible. I tend to dislike the chat a little more on the apps that have enormous swearing sensorship though.

Swearing isn't bad, but maybe we could have some sort of filter to take out all the pervs from chat.

So maybe like someone said scottlu can send out invetion to the players who don't curse and they can have a nice peacefull chat room to talk about everything they want and the rest can just ask on the forms or ask other players The same darn question. If you send privet messeges then you can't get all the resopons that your looking for. First chat I hurd warkilla asking scottlu if he could change his name to one of his ID I don't now what happen but another player asked him this time if he colud do the samething . Thing like that should be posted on forms.

Maybe scottlu should only let a hand full of players it would help nothing.
Or just stop having a chat room until he gets the swearing under control.

All I see from the chat room are:
same questions being asked
all thing that should be posted on the froms so the question won't be asked again.
Spaming massage amount
dates not being relashed he said why people should understand why but keep asking about dates.
and sucking up to scottlu.

We tested out the new spam blocker it works!!!!!!!!!! YesYes
if your an anon just login in to another anon ID and it well dismess the blocker. But a nother User ID won't work

now for the curse word don't have a monenterly block just have it
put stars or dots in stead of the bad words. It's going to be fun testing that one out.

Edit- I just found that if I select move form in the moderator control panel the option to move it to clans like bit and the scorpions are available even though they are no longer visable.

The problem doesn't really seem to lie with the day, but more the time. The fact that we are all in different time zones seems to make it difficult to find a time/schedule that works for everyone.

I was thinking about what Brian said. Well the day can play a factor
if your busy the whole day but more free time another day. Scott will have to confirm this but from what I understand he comes on at 9pm pacific time because it's more convient for him, and works around his schedule. So if we can't move the time earlier or later than we need to either pick another day or have 2 days which would be nice for people that either couldnt make it on Friday or just doesn't work in their schedule. Lawrence that's an idea. Any others?

Galm, if it's 12pm(noon) Pacific time, that would be 3pm your time. It's currently about 3:30pm my time. I think you missed it by about two hours. I wasn't there though, so can anyone clarify for the community if there was a scottlu chat at 12pm(noon)?

It's the Tuesday chat and usually everyone would still be on around about now. But there's nobody there interested in the chat nobodys been there for the past few weeks either.
Are the chats gonna stop? Or will there be a system of making a date for a chat rather than assuming it's allways gonna be on at 9 pm Friday and Tuesday

Lawrence, I was in the tuesday chat last night for awhile. I didn't stay as long as I usually do but I was there. As far as I know, the chats have stayed the same. 9pm PST on Friday and on Tuesday.

Whenever I host a Friday night chat, it will usually mean that Scott couldn't make it for whatever reason. I will also always host them at the typical 9 PST, and they will be in the Registered Room the majority of the time as well.
