Today I am going to tell you how to get a Skype status button on your signature. Notice mine at the bottom of the page. It looks like this: 🖼 image no longer available

1. Go to this website, and fill in your Skype username in the required field that is titled "Enter your Skype Name".
2. Go down to the "Skype buttons with status" section and click on one of the two status button options that you prefer.
3. If you need to change your privacy setings as indicated, please do so. If done, go into the code towards the bottom of it, and highlight the last URL address in the code, which will be in quotation marks. If you chose the status button of the left, it will say "http://mystatus.skype.com/balloon/(Skype username)", and if you chose the status button on the right it wil say "http://mystatus.skype.com/bigclassic/(Skype username)".

Where it says "WI-Nate" will be your Skype username.
4. Add ".png" to the end of the url.

Once again, where it says "WI-Nate", it will be your own Skype username. Select the whole url, right click, and hit Copy.
5. Go to the forums and log in. Click on "Profile" at the top and go down to your signature settings. type in " after it. Then click the "Img" option at the top of your post, and repaste the Skype status url. Click the "Img" button again, and then type in "[url]". I cannot post any examples for this one because they would just come out as pictures. 6. Click "Submit at the bottom and you are done!" You now have an automatically syncing Skype status button!
