Easiest fix ever all mapmakers, everyone put an area in the corner and male the trigger to end mission if a power generator enters it!

The easiest fix is to just block out that part of the map in the mission editor, so nothing can be built there. No triggers required.

Ok true I've done that too. Wat about the unreachable thing?

If Scott could make the mini map a solid entity, then you wouldnt have to worry about being underneath it, the minimap would be part of the map. It would be like a rock terrain, you cannot build on top of or underneath it.

Idk about the solid minimap idea. It would become very unfair for FFA where that corner would be blocked off for only one person. To do a trigger it would be like this:
Sides: However are in the mission (I'll just do a 1v1 with red and blue)
Conditions: Area name (MiniMap) contains at least 1 all units owned by side1, side2
Actions: Move Side1, Side2 Any unit from "Minimap" to area "Unit Jump"
Preserve Trigger
I only use this for maps with money so for me its all units except bullpup for it too mine and units automatically attack bullpups and it's defenceless so it doesn't matter if it goes under the minimap. Also make sure to add Preserve Trigger otherwise it won't work.
For all unlimited maps or maps that don't have galaxite under the minimap, I use the small lake, and put the last part of it off of the map boundaries so it doesn't interfere and it's a square. This is much easier.

I'm going to modify the server to ignore build commands at that location.
I'll also modify the game to let you know you can't build there.

I have a better idea, if you can get the game to register someone building in that spot, and then have an instant lose trigger... Whoever builds there is automatically resigned from the game and then everyone can laugh at him.

Yes, the map maker could do that as well but I'm not that mean and it's unfair to the partener if it's 2v2. This trigger is also hard on FFA because all mapmakers have to make it FAIR, and so then everybody would have to have that trigger.

Everyone would have that trigger, it wouldn't make anything unfair because they arent supposed to be building there anyway. If someone does, they automatically get resigned and then the other player has to wonder why his partner was such a desperate fool.

You didn't post that at all galm. You suggested a monument be built under the map so nothing can be built. I suggested that there be a lose trigger installed for the those who exploit the minimap glitch. These are totally different.

B | R
Y | C This is what a typical corners FFA map looks like. A map that has each person in their own corner. The color is represented by it first letter. What I'm saying is that on this map, Cyan would have the map trigger to end the game at it's bottom right. For the map to be FAIR, blue would have to have the SAME TRIGGER at it's top left, red at it's top right, and yellow at it's bottom right. This way each side has the same amount of building space. Even so, you do not know where the trigger area is, unless you put a wall around it, which would be the same thing as a lake. So I'm saying a lake is the best idea, or just a moving trigger. On any maps where doing this would not effect fairness, I say that this is the best way.

just increase the space slightly for c and decrease it slightly for everyone else so that they all have equal room, but the way im going with is putting walls under the minimap, way easier

Nate but the trigger would apply to all sides, y dont u just put cyan a little farther put, plus alot of ffas have the players on the sides NOT in the ocrners.

How would putting walls underneath the minimap be different than my idea, and if you would prefer they made more room for the 4 boxes of build space they miss out on for making the mini map a solid entity, then why would you not think the same way with putting walls underneath it.
