Whens the next update coming out? We need something new or clan wars. Is there a specific prgram u use to develop the game? It would be cool if we could help u make new stuff and make it happen faster. Then maybe someone could make ne. Units while some one fix bugs. We all want to help. Also r there any new mods because they r kinda inactive.

Well first off it costs about $1,000 to make an app, so I don't think any of us will be helping him unfortunatly. Venture around on this website for the full details: http://www.popsci.com/diy/article/2009-02/how-make-iphone-app
I have to agree with you on the mod thing though galm. All of the mods kind of are inactive. Crackerz's last post was April 22, 2006. Almost four years ago! Why is he a mod in the first place? Verdagon's last post was July 27, 2009, about 6.5 months ago. However, this post was stating that he checks the forums every few days, but does not post much. Kilik was also pming him a couple of weeks ago about clan buisiness, so perhaps he is still active. Although, I am on here often, and I never see his name under the current registered users on the forums at the bottom of the page. Maybe he doesn't log in. He is never on multiplayer either. The last mod, Alfex, had his last post December 22, 2009, almost two months ago. There should very welly be new, active mods. Or at least one to replace Crackerz, maybe not necessaraly Verdagon or Alfex though, but definetally Crackerz.

A teenbooper or teanyboopers one of them I know I missed spelled it but first I hurd it was a porn thing but then I hurd I was just a word that means young teens. That older people use to describe teens. That's what I hurd. I don't even think hurd is the right way to spell it o god it looks worng.

The expensive thing about creating new apps isn't the cost of the development kit, but the cost of your time. I think when you're a teenager, you don't have the money but you have lots of time. When you're older, the reverse is often true.

I would love for users to be able to create units. This has been on my "want" list for a long time. There is a lot of creativity out there, and making it possible for players to use that creativity and make the game better for everyone would be excellent. It's a huge amount of work though, so it has to be prioritized with other things for the game.

like what other things? :)
you should program it a bit dif scott, so you can add easy more units yourself (by using more variables?)
like define the name,hp,power,building
will probally take you some time to achieve that, but will be waaay easier afterwards.

The second page of that website gives specific pricing. Here it is:
http://www.popsci.com/diy/article/2009-02/how-make-iphone-app?page=1
As you can see, about $600 of that is buying a mac. They also include the keyboard, mouse, and monitor as well. They have the monitor as a touch screen, but I'm sure you could create an app with out a touch screen monitor. So it basically comes down to the price of the iPhone devoloper Program which is $100 for the basic edition and $300 for the advanced. BTW Scott what did you use to ake this app, the basic or advanced? However I don't have a mac so it would cost me that $600 extra.

Originally a Windows PC and Visual Studio for the Palm and Pocket PC versions, then a Macbook Pro and iPhone SDK for the iPhone version.
