Difference between the xbox 360 Pro and the xbox 360 Arcade?

Hello,
What is the difference between the xbox 360 Pro and the xbox 360 Arcade besides the price? I am going to buy one but i don't understand why one is cheaper than the other. And if you have any recommendations on which ne to buy please comment.

The arcade has no harddrive. According to Xbox.com it doesn't come with a headset, a network cable, HD video cables(composite or HDMI), or backwards compatibility. I think you need a hardrive for backwards compatability, so you just need to buy one. It does come with a 256 mb memorycard to compensate for its lack of a harddrive. It still comes with silver membership to Xboxlive, and you can still play all 360 games, but you can't buy games on xboxlive again because of the lack of a harddrive.

just go with the elite. thats what i did. it comes with 160 gb hard drive, two games, wireless controller, and composite cable. also its what a hundred dollars more expensive? compare it to: no games, less memory than my psp or phone, a wired controller, no headset and not even composite cables. the controller is $60 the cable is like $20-$40 and the headset is like $15 and the games are like $30 each and the hard drive is $130 for 100gb or something like that. just with the cable, and wireless controller it costs the same. if you buy it seperately and use the arcade one, its like buying it twice. then you still gotta buy wifi adapter, gold membership, microsoft points, extra controllers, and other games. use the money you save to buy the stuff in the preceding sentence. i got like every i said to get and i got the best gaming experience ive ever had, and i have every new video console, eveb the portable ones, and the itouch. my itouch is now used to keep track of mw2 stats, and get tips. so go with the elite or at least the pro.

well i know about basically all of that, as a video game buyer, player, and my family owns a wii, 2 ds's, 2 psps, 360, ps3, ps2, ps1, camecube, gameboy sp, 4 gameboy colors, ipod touch, 2 ipod nanos, disney mix stick, etc. and like 200 video just for ps2. so i know all there is to know on the basics, and experiences, and im 13 and i bought most of those with my christmas money or got it for christmas over the years. yes i am spoiled. so ask me any question and ill answer

Well I know everything about consoles and pretty much anything and everything about technology. I've owned all the playstation products, all xbox consoles, nintendo, atari, huge led lcd 3d tvs, bose, onkyo , polkaudio and klipsh receivers, players and speakers, i have 2 SUVs and 2 brand new cars one is Toyota Matrix fully loaded the other one is an Audi Quatro. My suvs are Cadillac Escalade and 2010 Ford Escape again they're both fully loaded. I have a wife and a girlfriend and I think she's getting suspicious.

What I'm trying to say is if you've got money to spend and you don't care about your future then buy whatever money can buy!!!! I bought them all with my money I earned and stole over the years. Galm no wonder Brian hates you. I was being sarcastic. In case you haven't noticed I was trying to copy Jorlandi because all he did was pretty much brag about all his consoles and told people to ask him any questions about games and consoles and yet he did not answer the question that actually started this thread. Now tell me galm, was I still being a self-centered asshole for pretty much giving Jorlandi a hint that his post was useless just like yours? What I did was out of humor and nothing more.
