Hello. I am in need of help with the mission editor. The first thing that I was wondering was how to make a person start out with unlimited money. Second, I wanted to find out how to stop players from attacking other players in a multiplayer map. Like, for example, the players have units next to each other but they dont attack, even when you command them to. Thanks!

Here is how you create an allience between blue and red::
Sides: 1+2 Conditions: Mission Loaded Actions: Side 1 allies with Side 2 Side 2 allies with Side 1 These players won't be able to attack each other. Now obviously you can have mulitiple alliences. But you must do it like that. You can just switch up the sides. It also seems like thee should be a way to do unlimited money without having to listen to a lot beeping. Maybe have like a really high budget. Like 1,000,000 when the mission loads. Then have a trigger like this: Sides: 1 Conditions: Credits: Side 1 has 100000 credits Actions: Modify Credits: Side 1's Credits set 1000000 -Preserve Trigger That should get rid of a lot of beeping. You could even have it set at 10,000,000 credits or 100,000,000 or something. Last edited by N@TE on Sun Jan 10, 2010 11:21 am; edited 1 time in total |

Two things:
1. Read this site: http://sites.google.com/a/warfareincorporated.com/mission-authoring/ 2. Find an existing map that you like, download the .pdb, and in the editor select File -> Import Mission Pack. Then you can check out the map including all the triggers, and learn all sorts of things like how to end a mission correctly, how to do allies, and other things. |
