Locking up, temporary freezing.

Brand New Tungsten E with no hacks running.

The game has been running fine for the most part until mission C2. Here it started getting very slow, and the game freezes continually for about two seconds and then unfreezes for one. It makes it completely impossible to play the game. Soft reset did not improve it at all, and I am not controlling a large amount of units at one time (max 5 at a time....thats all I have in the game other than towers)

It seems to get slow during combat mostly, but turning off all performance options shows no improvement. Also, previous missions played just fine.

Edit: 9.2MB RAM free of 28.8MB

Interesting. Did you add any programs during your progress through the game. Even so, we will have to look into it. Is C2 the only mission that has this problem?

me too, i got a tungsten E, brand new, no hacks, locks up for 5 seconds or so when big battles on that mission (especially when the cyclops attack).

I know what the problem is, I'll take a look at it. In the meantime you Tungsten E users might want to sign up for the beta test of the OS 5 optimized version of Warfare Incorporated (read annoucement at the top of the General Discussion forum. This problem will disappear.

I've also been having this problem, only on mission M10 with a Zire 71. Every time I build a base or have a few (5+) units up in the top right corner where the free radicals are trying to escape, the game hangs for a few seconds, returns to being playable (though highly laggy) then repeats the bug. There seems to be no way around it, and I'm not exactly short on memory (8.7MB), I have nothing running in the background, and I have no third party hacks or vaguely suspicious apps installed whatsoever.

Could this be the same issue that you're talking about, that's being taken care of in the OS5 optimized version? (And wait, I was sure I had an OS 5 optimized version - or so the store advertised. Is the beta talked about on the forums a new one not being sold yet?)

The game plays on OS 5, we have just changed thing so that it runs even better on OS 5, and yes it is in beta, so not avaliable for retail yet.

The version in the stores right now is v1.0. The OS 5 / ARM optimized version will be v1.1 when it is released. It addresses this problem you are reporting. It is in beta now and will be released in under a month. It'll have a few other features too ;) and will be a free upgrade.

It is really slow and locks up also the sound is crap. it is weard it works just fine on my PEG-T665C but not on my new one, i hope you fix it for OS 5.2 because i am saving up to the the PEG-TH55 and i hope it works for it if you fix the problem i will BYE

Same problem on a Sony UX50. in M7just at the peak of battle it locked up completely.

The slowness only happen when there are more that 30 units on the screen from either side.

And Yes I will sign up for beta tester

Actually v1.1 is released now. It'll fix these problems.
