How about a game tracking system.
If you click on a game currently in play (because you want to play one o the people in it) it, currently, just highlights it to acknowledge that you clicked on it. How about a button that pops up, where the join button would normally appear, that allowed you to "track the game." once you click "track game" it would permanently highlight the game in green. once the game is over, in the chat, it would tell you that "the game you tracked has finished" along with "the outcome of the game is ..." and "the game lasted [5:00]."
What do you think? Of course this would occurs after you nix the grey text because the game information would get lost in the sea of annoyance and just add to thr confusion (currently).
