How do you add instructions to a map you make??

You can set formal objectives, and then show formal objectives at mission start.

Or on the game screen you can set the objective (different than formal objectives). The objective is text that will show at the top of the screen.

You can also show alerts on the game screen during play. These show at the botttom, an then disappear after a few seconds.

So there are several different ways. Look in the trigger actions list for these.
