For the game lobby, I'd like to see:
- Color options, so you can change to the color youd like. (still only red, blue, yellow, and teal) (but more would come as another update.)
- Kick option - for brats with big mouths. (or afk'ers)
- Unready Button - Just in case you are in fact, not ready.

Some good ideas Brian. Some not so good.

Kick option: This is a neat but you can just start a new game if people aren't paying enough attention to tap the READY key. Sad really, we have to even bring this issue up. Is ADD that bad among WI players?

Pick a color option: This would be great if the computer assigned the player with the highest score on the leaderboard the color RED. Then everyone would know who to go after. :x

Unready button: We already have this button. It is named "CANCEL".

My ideas are to promote productivity, why would/should I have to exit the game to reconnect back to the same game. I would prefer not to have to make a new game because the person is afk. (it was really meant with 4player games in mind) in order to kick one person, I'd then have to kick 2 people who are there and ask them to reconnect to my new game. It's just a hassle.

And as for the color option, I meant it so we could choose our own color. For instance, I like the color "cyan" (it's teal) but I don't want to look like a color whore, constantly making new game after new game trying to ge the color I want.

Good points. I agree with the color choice. I didn't realize people were so color driven.

The KICK option could be used in a bad way also. Kicking out players someone doesn't want to play with for example.

I can see how AFK players can hold up a game. Maybe they want a 4 player game and the game hoster just wants to play NOW. No waiting for 3rd or 4th players.

You're right, the kick option could use a little help
maybe a time restriction or something to that extent.

Good discussion. Btw Brian go to images.google.com and search for cyan, and then for teal. I think cyan is right :)

It's cyan (at least it says so in the game). I personally prefer red colour but I don't dwell on these things much.

Also, is it possible that games where bad connection forces a resignation not count as a loss? Especially when playing against anons it pains me to have to withdraw and lose a hefty sum of points.

As previously mentioned, a kick option would be good, as would be a team chat.

OH, and I'd like to see an idle player counter.

currently it says (when you enter a server):
"Main (25 players, 11 games)"

Well, if there are 2 people in each game, that leaves 3 people you can actually play with, not 25. So an idle player counter would be ideal to see how many of the "25" are able to join your game at any given point.

I completely agree that we need a kick button, I'd even go as far as to say a BAN button.
It seems every time I get on, I have some stupid anon griever constantly joining my game even though I told him politely that I don't play anon players, then cancel my game and create a new one. To which he reconnects and starts talking bullshit.. over and over. It's ridiculous.. I think we need to do away with anon players all together.

It's hard to believe where all you can find such retarded people in this world.

I agree that the anon filter / kick button would be great.

I seem to be being stalked by one or two anon users when I'm in the room who won't leave me alone. Every time I create a game they join and I end up having to play them else I don't get a game for ages. It's no surprise, given how keen they are to play, that they are good players wanting a risk-free pop at the guys at the top so they can move their rank above.

I'm keen to play against good players, but not at +1 for a win and -40 for a loss.

I agree it's a problem. What if when you create a game, you can select a checkbox so that only registered users can join?
