Why not let the community create tile sets? Creating tile sets does not require special programming knowledge, and sets can be submitted to scottlu for implementatio. It would save him a lot of time and he could continue working on the multiplayer beta.

I think that's a great idea.

I would need to enhance the tools a bit to make this possible.
