I put the first file into my apps folder like the steps told me to, but i didnt take WI off of my ipod. so its not working and i dont know what to do. im getting the ipod cannot be verified error.

Can you see a beta forum towards the bottom of the main forum index? If so, check there. Beta related issues should be discussed there not in the public area. Otherwise, send Alfex a PM regarding this to see if you're on the tester list.
