I'm losing and losing and losing ... why ? ... not enough credit.
Solution : do a save of the level, transfert the file to a PC. With a HEX Editor change the Offset 265 & 266 in decimal and put FF FF. Then save the modifcation and transfert back the file to the PDA. Enjoy !!!

I found a great hex editor along with a great explanation when i was looking for cheats for Diablo 2 LOD. from what i understand, the F's (and other letters as well) represent numbers in increments of sixteen (i think). when i get back to my house i will clue you in on the name of the hex editor i found. it seemed easy enough to use.

i think this is the one i used. i don't know enough about it to tell you how to use it. there is alot of documentation on how it works on the web. good luck.

hex is a simple way to read binary. for example if you see 1111 that is F in hex, or 15 in decimal. where as 1010 is A in hex and 10 in binary.

Modified file as suggested changed offset 265&266 to ff ff hotsync'd back to zire 71 but money didnt go to value as stated but continued to drop from previous value? made sure file was changing properly by altering a piece of text in file which loaded back to zire ok. is 265 and 266 the correct addresses for changing the money credits?
Any chance from the development team for anymore Hacks for the game?

Unlikely. If users figure out how to do something it's one thing. But the development team created the game with the intent for it to be played as is. If you find the levels too difficult try it on an easier setting.

FF is part of a number base called hexdecimal, which is based on the number 16. Here's how the system works:

0 stands for 0, in most cases
1 for 1
2 for 2
3 for 3
4 for 4
5 for 5
6 for 6
7 for 7
8 for 8
9 for 9
A for 10
B for 11
C for 12
D for 13
E for 14
F for 15

Let's say you wanted the number 255... well that's easy. F stands for 15, and 16² is 256, so we go FF because F is in the 16's column and F is in the one's column.

I hope this helps out a little :)

If you need a better analogy, use HTML color codes, otherwise referred to as RGB triplets. They're based on hexadecimal also :)

Not to be rude, but if you don't know what you are doing, then don't do it.!

Yes, and while you're at it crack the game for Zodiac too.

Not too smart crawling around here telling people to de-assemble their games.

Hey guys I can't figure this out! I even read the tutorial at http://palmcheaterguy.4t.com/cheat.html#TCSAP but I can't get it to work! Everytime I transfer the save file back to my phone and try to load it the game says "error loading save file".

I did also what the guy said above...opened the save file on my PC with my hex editor and went to offset 265 and 266 in decimal and changed it to FF FF.

I beat the game and want to play around. I'm on Mission 8. If I can't figure this out can I send one of you my save file and have you edit it for me? It would help a lot...thanks
