One thing that I think could really do with some improvement is the add-on download list; right now it seems very cluttered and difficult to find decent maps among the unfinished 'my first map' creations.
Moderating the custom maps and removing the sub-par ones could help, but it would be a pain to find people willing to sift through all of them. I think a rating system would be great; users can award 4 or 5 stars to maps they enjoy and fewer to those they feel need more work. It would probably be tough to implement but neccessary if the mapping community keeps growing...

I agree a rating system is really needed - it's on my short list.

oh yes please.
So tired of downloading an add-on map and after 20 minutes of playing discover that either there are no enemies and I was just mining for no reason or worse yet no way to complete the mission. Perhaps a separate beta only section where developers could place a beta and users could give them insight then an entirely different section that contains the workable gems that would contribute to the wonderful game that is WI.

Totally agree. I am working on testing and quarantining those missions that are not designed properly.
This will take awhile and standards are being set for this process to go forward.
