There should be an option to change how units were selected back on Palm, one finger to highlight units and use the minimap for purposes of scrolling. Least make it optional, thanks!

I don't understand. For iPhone? If you tap on one type of unit, say a Security Guard, the rest of the Security Guard units within that area will be selected as well.

Assigning units into groups would be more efficient. As you can see from the shot below, the concept would be simple. Select the "mobile" units you want to put into an assigned group, then tap the group number on the left side to assign them. Each unit assigned would have their assigned group number above their health.

If you wish to disband the assigned group, just double tap on the group number. A prompt will pop up asking you if you'd like to disband your assigned group. Select to confirm. Alternatively, you just select the units you want removed from the group, move them out of the group area, reselect your group and re-assign your units to the group.

I probably wasn't clear in my idea, but I do like yours. What I was saying was make an option to only need to use one finger instead of two to form the rectangle like you do. This is how the Palm version was. With the single finger selection option, you could only scroll the map with the minimap, but again, this was how it was on the Palm. I understand using a stylus is much different than your finger, but I think a few different ways to control things would be a nice option.

Zandog, nice screenshots!

Your graphics would work for a stylus, but fingers being so big, the UI would need to change.

Can you PM me your email address?

Thanks.

Thanks Scott :)

You could make the buttons expand (inflate/magnify) like you do when you press on units and structures. e-mail sent and replied.
