Is it possible to become a beta tester?

Not for this game, it's already been tested. Plus, you had to be chosen, and you need experience. If you want experience go sign up at Astraware or Beardedtoad.

The reality is that this game has already been tested and released for single player mode. However, there is still multiplayer to come, which will undoubtedly need lots of testing. Since we are interested in a wide range of user abilities, testing experience is not a requirement. I believe the criteria used for selecting the original test group members were as follows: owned a PDA, was willing to play the game regularly and fill out a feedback form, agreed not to disclose what he/she was working on, and agreed not to distribute copies of the game.

In the future when beta testers are needed for the multiplayer version of WI there will likely be a request for beta testers. At that time I would encourage you to apply for a beta tester position.
