Flying Units would make the games so much more interesting. You should make a Warfare Inc 2 and create flying units.

Even though this is kinda gravedigging, I assume you mean like aircraft (shuttles/fighter planes . . . )? The vehicles used in WI (if you've seen the artwork) are based (I believe) on a current design using turbofans (?) to propel the craft upward and forward. This means the vehicles do travel through the air! I'll put up what artwork I have on my Flickr page .

C'yas!

If the units are currently flying units, then rivers and ridges should be irrelevant. I believe kendomaster is looking for units that have an advantage by being able to cross these topographical barriers.

Exactly what rburtz said. You could have units that attack and others that carry troops & vehicles. They'd be more expensive, since they have a huge advantage. Maybe you could allow Andy to shoot from the air. Cooool.

It does sound reasonable to put aircraft vehicles in the game...Helicopters and troop transportation aircrafts.I see your point..they would be useful

That would be cool even if you just made fighters and not troop ships.

These features would be awesome but as stated before scottlu is busy working on multiplayer right now, maybe once it is out of beta he will change focus to other enhancements.

I thought I was the first one to think of this and posted anither topic about it I'm so sorry. Anyway I think anti-air towers are needed. Otherwise it would be too much of an advantage.

This would be great in mission editor if I could use air units! Some should be locked pending R & D center research. Maybe infantary only can attack air. Here is a list of the units it would be good to see:
Ship good at infantary
Ship good at tanks
Drop ship (locked till r&d centre upgrade)
Ship that shoots down air (locked)
Building destroyer (locked)
Terran Battlecruiser with yamoto gun (just kidding)
If you can think up more ideas to this please reply.

Actually, though I like the concept of air units and such, I think that even adding new ground units would be very hard to balance out let alone air units.

Anybody considered water units yet? If larger sea tiles are added it could add some variety to the game. Being only restricted to water they would not be overbalanced if they have longer range/higher armour but on maps with river chokepoints they should be interesting to fight.

That would be good if we the mission editor allowed large amounts of water to be made. They could be build at a harbour that's on water!
Yea I think we should have Land, Air and Sea units. However that''s a long way away.

Air units sound like they have too much of an advantage. Maybe there should be a down side?

Like maybe less defense?

I just wish that there was a way to make Andy's.... they should probably cost 5000 to produce and be restricted in certain maps in multiplayer but could make the game more interesting.
